Passenger Stairs

Description

The parallelogram stairs have height ranges to provide versatility for operators and aircraft types. The design is well proven providing safety and ease of maintenance. The heavy duty steel chassis is supported on four pneumatic wheels with brakes fitted to the front pair. A turnable steering provides an excellent turning circle. Extending stabilizers are located at four load bearing positions. A mechanical locking mechanism supports the stair assembly when elevated at individual heights. The two top platform side panels are retractable with a lock to enable the aircraft door to be opened when interfaced. Rubber buffers protect the leading edges of these panels and the platform frame. The complete assembly is designed to CEN & IATA standards.
